Carrie Shriffin

Carrie earned her B.F.A. in Studio Art from New York University, a M.A.T. degree in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts and a MOM degree in child-rearing from her son Rami. For nearly a decade, she shared her passion for art with students in public schools. When her son was born, Carrie shifted focus to creating her own work. Through figurative paintings, she explores themes of aging, time and relationships, blending reality with the surreal to convey a relatable story or feeling. Carrie is fortunate to share her work in galleries in the Denver area such as SeeSaw Gallery, BRDG Project, D’Art Gallery, Edge Gallery and CORE Art Space.
